Her very own Bill Murray.Sofia wrote Lost in Translation with Bill Murray in mind and she would haven't made the film without him. Thank God he accepted. But it was not easy. Sofia left hundred of messages on Bill's mailbox because that's the only way to reach him, he's got no agent, but she finally did.
Anyway, Sofia wasn't sure if Bill was actually going to show up for the film, going by only a verbal confirmation. It was on the first day of filming, that Bill showed up. Despite all this Bill and Sofia are now friends. He even improvised most of his lines on the film which made the movie even more funny.
