Sofia Coppola arrives at the Premiere of Directors Francis Ford Coppola’s "Tetro" at Hammer Museum on June 3, 2009 in Westwood, Los Angeles, California.

Supporting her father, Sofia was all dressed in black for her dad's new film, reunited an they look so good together! I'm sorry if I'm not able to upload more but I'm busy and there are no news of 'Somewhere' or new pics of Sofia. But whenever there's something I'll post it here and Sofia and Francis look really nice here!

Francis Ford Coppola and Sofia have paid a visit to Madrid (Spain) to attend to Maribel Verdu's play 'Un Dios Salvaje' - October 31.

Maribel stars in Francis' upcoming film 'Tetro' and it looks like Sofia and her dad have become fans of her.

Sofia about the bad reviews her perfomance in 'The Godfather III' had:

"I was 18 and they said I ruined my father's movie".

That film is such a masterpiece that even her bad acting couldn't take it down. The role was for Winona Ryder but she couldn't do it and people were very cruel to Sofia but at least she made her way into directing and she's critically aclaimed now. So screw all those critics.

Annie Leibovitz shot father-daughter directors Sofia Coppola & Francis Ford Coppola sharing a moment in the countryside outside Buenos Aires:

"It's great to work with Annie - she did a good portfolio on the set of 'Marie Antoinette'. She just selects one picture and then shows it to you. But I think that's good. My dad and I were both like, yeah, whatever you want, this is your shoot. On your own set you want it exactly your own way, but we can get with someone else's vision too. Annie's used to shooting people who aren't models. On the red carpet I'm self-conscious. The best way is not to look at the camera. Here I'm just listening to my dad talking."

These ads couldn't be better, she showed them in a natural way, it would have looked too forced in any other way.

The photograph was taken by Annie Leibovitz, daddy Coppola giving some directing tips to his daugther, and somehow it has all the Sofia vibe, I mean, the nature, the sun on the leaves, a girl lying on the grass... I totally loved it.

We at Elleuk.com are hearing exciting things about the latest Louis Vuitton campaign shoot.

Marc Jacobs is calling on his pals for the next installment of the French luxury goods label’s ‘core values’ campaign. He has called on his muse, hip director and model of his own-label fragrance line, Sofia Coppola, as well as her father, legendary director Francis ‘the Godfather’ Ford Coppola. Both recently posed together in Argentina for super snapper Annie Leibovitz, Annie has shot all of the recent LV campaigns. Louis Vuitton have been breaking away from the usual super models for it’s ad campaigns in recent years, picking Mikhail Gorbachev and Steffi Graf and we just love this latest collaboration of film auteurs and fashion. Meanwhile Linda Evangelista has been named as the face of the Prada autumn/winter campaign.

Francis Ford Coppola knew his daughter would become a director by the time she was 3.

"My wife and I were driving in the car with Sofia and we were having a typical silly marital argument that was going on a little too long. All of a sudden this little voice in the back seat said, 'Cut!' She knew how to use that word at a very early age."

Later, when Sofia was about 6, on the set of her dad's film "Apocalypse Now" she would draw elaborate pictures of palm trees and helicopters and tell stories connecting the pictures.

"She was a very imaginative child," says her mother Eleanor Coppola. "But when she played with her friends, she always wanted them to play her way — her story, her costumes. And I would have to say, 'Sofia, not everyone wants to play your way.' But the kids, inevitably, did want to play Sofia's way. She had that pattern of somehow gathering everyone's enthusiasms, which is very much like a director."
