The Virgin Suicides: trivia

Nothing new in Sofia's world so I will post a bit of trivia and interesting facts of Sofia's films, starting with 'The Virgin Suicides':

- Thurstoon Moore of the band Sonic Youth originally gave the book 'The Virgin Suicides' to Sofia Coppola. After reading it she decided to make it into a movie.

- Josh Hartnett used a wig for his role as Trip Fontaine.

- Leslie Hayman, who plays Therese Lisbon, is a close friend of Sofia Coppola and was the face of Coppola's clothing line Milkfed.

Here we have Kirsten and Susan Sarandon (Kirsten's mom in "Little Women"!!) joining Josh Hartnett for his new movie "August" after-party this week, Lux and dirty Trip back together again!

There always have been rumours of these two together, I mean Kiki and Joshie, but never believed them, they seem to be great friends and he has admitted to only have had two girlfriends in his life (his school sweetheart Ellen & Scarlett - he was such a fool for letting her go), but who knows. They would rock it as a couple and I'm happy though that they're still great pals.
